Wellness Workshops
Our proactive wellness workshops prioritize whole-person well-being for individuals, couples, families, organizations, and social groups, aiming to enhance both personal and professional development.
All workshops combine therapeutic practices with creative self-expression and are led by licensed therapists or master’s-level art therapy interns, ensuring a professional and therapeutic experience. Team members will guide you through a process that allows you to create, explore, and transform.
These workshops are designed to build connection, increase productivity, improve satisfaction, and strengthen problem-solving skills.
You will learn self-awareness and relaxation techniques, stress management tools, creative problem-solving strategies, and self-care techniques, all within a supportive space that encourages emotional exploration and transformation.
You will gain an understanding of your behavior, learn creative ways to solve problems and process emotions to change destructive thought processes and gain a positive sense of self.
A variety of art materials are used to visually explore goals in a supportive community. Most workshops include an introduction, dedicated time for creating art based on a specific wellness theme, and a group discussion to reflect on the exploration of insights gained.
These two-hour workshops are designed for eight to twelve participants.
At Art Lab Rx, every aspect of the experience is centered on fostering meaningful change.
Join one wellness workshop or as many as you like. Registration closes one day before a workshop begins.

What is Well-Being?
Well-being is a construct; and well-being is not necessarily happiness. Well-being has five measurable elements (PERMA) that contribute to a fulfilling life.
P- Positive emotion, which focuses on cultivating joy and gratitude.
E- Engagement, where individuals become deeply absorbed in activities that challenge and energize them.
R- Relationships, emphasizing the importance of strong supportive connections with others.
M- Meaning, which involves finding purpose through contributing to something greater than oneself.
A- Achievement, centered around achieving goals and personal growth.
Together, these elements offer a holistic framework for improving mental and emotional health, fostering a balanced and meaningful life. – Martin Seligman, Flourish.
