Meet Maggie

Maggie brings art therapy and wellness programs to your doorstep. Our mobile art studio welcomes up to eight people with our indoor/outdoor workstations. A trained Art Lab Rx team member will facilitate your customized session using a variety of art materials. Maggie can be used year-round, is handicap accessible, and has a restroom on board.

Maggie allows Art Lab Rx to increases your accessibility to art therapy and wellness programs. We break down barriers by bringing the supplies and services that facilitate transformation through art therapy to your community anywhere in Minnesota.

A symbol of transformation herself, Maggie was a standard-issue coach bus that has been transformed from the inside out – much like someone experiencing the healing power of art therapy. Her rainbow exterior is a reference to the redemption one can feel through this creative self-expression.

Maggie is named after Margaret Naumberg, who is considered to be the mother of art therapy.
